HISTORY Colonial Title Company was incorporated in 1993 by its president, Raymond DeBates, a licensed attorney since 1984 with over 20 years of real estate and title experience. Many members of the Colonial Title Company family have been with us for close to ten years.  Colonial Title Company has been a member, in good standing, of the American Land Title Association and the Michigan Land Title Association since 1995 and is backed by a number of national underwriters.  Colonial Title is licensed through the State of Michigan as a title agent. Colonial Title Company is a full service title agency, able to assist you anywhere in Michigan and the United States.

MISSION

Our mission is to provide our customers with professional, courteous and efficient service at every step and to take care of their title and escrow needs.

By making sure all parties to the transaction are informed and accommodated to the best of our abilities, we work to help guide the parties through the transaction process and provide essential items needed for a comfortable and secure closing.

After the closing, Colonial Title strives to record the legal documents as quickly as the system allows and pays all bills, mortgages and liens.  The final policy of title insurance will be issued shortly after all necessary legal documents are recorded.
